Offroad Points
· v1.0.4
About
Navigate to trail points from your wrist - or your handlebar.
A shared map of the places that matter off-road: springs and water
taps, fuel stations, gates, parking, lookouts and trailheads. Pick a
point and you get a compass arrow and a distance to it, held until you
choose another one - through closing the app, through a flat battery,
through the whole ride.
Record your ride and it lands in your ride album automatically: the
track drawn over a map, coloured by speed, with distance, time and
climb. No ride planned? A private ride is created for you, visible
only to you.
The device's own topographic map, with your target pinned, a compass
dial in the corner, and the trail you have ridden drawn behind you -
the one route you know for certain is passable.
- The nearest points to you, with live distances
- Works fully offline once the points have arrived
- Mark your vehicle, or navigate back to where the ride began -
no phone, no signal, no account needed
- Drop private pins with names, right from the device
- Multi-band GNSS where the hardware has it
- On Forerunner: a screen lock a jacket sleeve cannot defeat
Requires a free account on the companion platform. Pair once with a
six-digit code. On Edge, everything arrives over WiFi with no phone
around.
