This is WF with display METAR data. Very useful for pilots. WARNING!!! This watchface is intended only as a flight planning aid and NOT for in-flight use and should not be used as a primary information source. The first 7 days, full functionality without restrictions, so you can try and understand if you need this WF. After 7 days, WF will switch to FREE mode with some restrictions (read a bit below). Receiving data for the target airport - fot it you need to enter its ICAO in the settings (No in FREE). If ICAO is empty, the data will be for the nearest airport in locked coordinates (always). Display of wind direction on the outer ring (No in FREE). Display time of sun events (No in FREE). Note: "N" on left of the date - there are notifications A red circle in the center - there is a connection to the phone, otherwise it is yellow. "NS" on left = "NOSIG" ------------------------------------ There is no METAR data downloaded… Getting METAR to your watch requires 5 things to be right: Condition 1: You need to be actively connected with your phone via Bluetooth (go to Garmin Connect Mobile and synchronize your watch to force an active connection) Condition 2: Your phone needs to be connected with the internet Condition 3: You need to acquire a gps position by starting a run activity outdoor and waiting for a green gps fix. (you can return to the watch face once you have acquired the fix, you don’t need to start the run activity. This must be repeated every time you want to have METAR from a new location).). Entering longitude / latitude in the settings is necessary only for the first start of WF (enter latitude / longitude in the format as provided by this website: https://www.latlong.net/) Condition 4: Garmin Connect Mobile needs to be running on your mobile phone (as a background process or actively as a foreground process). Make sure that you have no battery saver apps running that kill the Garmin Connect Mobile instance.
