This watchface came from the idea of connecting my own weather station with my watch. It is for users who have their own weather station connected to ThingSpeak server (for example Arduino weather stations). This is not a watchface with public weather info. Please, read the setup procedure first (written below). Watchface is able to read and display up to six values from your ThingSpeak channel. You are able to configure the ThingSpeak channel ID, Read API Key, update interval (between 5 and 20 minutes), number of displayed fields (up to 6 fields), data position (which fields will display which values), icons for every field (you can choose between 11 different icons) nad together with it, it is possible to select the background of weather station data fields. Watchface is available in EN and CZ lang and it is possible to use it on many devices with 240x240, 260x260 and 280x280 display resolution. Setup procedure: ----------------------------- 1. open ThingSpeak and log into your account 2. open the channel which you want to watch on your device 3. select the API keys tab of previously selected channel 4. copy your Read API key 5. copy your Channel ID (channel ID may be the six or seven-digit number in Read channel Feed link*) 6. open watchface settings in Garmin Express or Connect Mobile app 7. insert the Read API key and Channel ID into their settings fields 8. select the data update interval (from 5 to 20min - shorter interval may affect the device battery life) 9. set the number of displayed fields** 10. set the content of the fields and their icons 11. save the settings and sync your device 12. select the watchface in your device watchface settings * Read channel feed link looks like: api.thingspeak.com/channels/YOUR_CHANNEL_ID/feeds.json?api_key=YOUR_READ_API_KEY&results=1 ** If you have ThingSpeak channel which collects four values, set max 4 fields (if you set more - other values will be displayed as zeros) Versions: - v1.3.0 - Added support for some devices - v1.2.0 - Changes in used fonts and positioning, added support for some devices - v1.1.0 - Changes in positioning - v1.0.0 - First release
