Pill Reminder
· v2.0.4
About
Pill Reminder is a simple daily medication reminder for Garmin watches.
You can configure two independent reminders: MORNING and EVENING. Each reminder can be enabled or disabled separately, so the app can work with either one or two daily alarms.
At the configured time, the watch provides an audible alert and vibration. If the dose is not confirmed, a final reminder is triggered 15 minutes later.
After selecting TAKEN, the app records the dose in the 7-day history and automatically schedules the next reminder.
The main screen shows the current time, the next reminder, countdown, and recent intake history. Morning doses are displayed as shorter white bars and evening doses as taller turquoise bars.
If both reminders are disabled, the app displays NO REMINDERS and no alarm is scheduled.
Pill Reminder is a simple reminder tool and is not a substitute for medical advice or personal responsibility for taking medication.
Currently supported:
* English
* Polish
If the watch uses another unsupported language, the app uses English as the fallback language.
User guide
Main screen. The large time next to the bell icon is the next scheduled reminder. The following reminder and countdown may also be shown. If a reminder is scheduled for the next day, tomorrow is displayed. After about 20 seconds of inactivity, the app automatically returns to the watch face.
Setting reminders. Select SET TIMES. The app supports two independent periods: MORNING from 00:00 to 11:30 and EVENING from 12:00 to 23:30. Each reminder can be enabled or disabled separately. Disabling a reminder does not delete its saved time. If the settings screen is left inactive for about 45 seconds, unsaved changes are cancelled.
Primary reminder. At the scheduled time, the TAKE YOUR PILL screen appears with sound and vibration. Select TAKEN to confirm the dose. If no action is taken, the alarm screen closes after a short period and a final reminder is scheduled.
Final reminder. Fifteen minutes later, a red FINAL REMINDER screen appears. This is the only additional reminder for that dose. Select TAKEN to confirm it. If the final reminder is also ignored, no intake is recorded.
After selecting TAKEN. The DOSE TAKEN confirmation is displayed for about 5 seconds. The main screen is then shown for about 5 seconds with the updated history and next alarm. The app then automatically returns to the watch face.
7-day history. Each day can display two separate bars. A shorter white bar represents a confirmed MORNING dose. A taller turquoise bar represents a confirmed EVENING dose. If both doses were confirmed, both bars are shown side by side. No bar means no confirmation was recorded.
Using only one reminder. MORNING or EVENING can be enabled independently. If only one reminder is active, the app schedules that same reminder again for the following day.
No reminders. If both MORNING and EVENING are disabled, the app displays NO REMINDERS. The TAKEN button is hidden and no alarm is scheduled.
