About

Check out the latest features in the "What's New: " section, including a colour-coded zone screen! Any questions contact me. Please consider a small donation & suggest any future features in a review or on e-mail. https://buymeacoffee.com/woodster --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keep track of your interval pace as you're running along ( RUN Phase ), then press the lap button to lock in your pace so far ( REST phase ). Configure an audible beep to let you know when you've hit your target pace ( when rested ), then once in RUN phase it will stop beeping. Go to the connect IQ settings for the app. Screen layout is shown in the images ( 4 segments : top/bottom/left & right in the middle ) - add the data field to each of the segments. You only need to do this once. The app detects which layout you have and switches screen automatically. It will take a second or so to settle but once you stay on that screen it's good. A colour version of GAPMNN which uses the 3 segments layout ( with labels ) which is used for race-pacing ( see GAPMNN app for thorough instructions ). You can pick from most race distances and set the hill factor. Note that a value of zero means you don't factor in hills at all e.g if you're an official pacer and have to run at a constant pace throughout. Also included : a quad screen which shows you max heart rate, current heart rate, run pace and lap pace. This is in early development so welcome any feedback & donations to spur me on! https://buymeacoffee.com/woodster Hopefully you find it useful as this feature doesn't seem to exist on running watches at the moment ( AFAIK at time of writing ! ) that does live interval pace tracking. NB’s: App name on watch shows as GAP_AND_RUN_PACE - maybe I'll come up with a better name soon :) If you don’t pick a pace e.g KPH/KM PACE/Mile PACE/etc the defaults are shown below: Interval screen: Minutes per kilometer Non-GAP pace at the top of the GAP-pacing screen ( green/black ) : Minutes per kilometer ( the preview before you start activity is always pace but can sort this out !! ) Run pace ( Blue on white ) only does KPH and KM PACE at the moment – more to come soon! GAP screen ( the red & white one ) : KPH

What's new

Release Notes 00.08.05 Work done on screen 3B ( the 3 horizontal bands with no label ) : + Auto-detection of user's max heart rate - shown in label. If there is a sport-specific setting it will use that, otherwise it will use the default. Zones are based on 10% buckets ( like Polar's defaults ): Z5 : 90% - 100%+ Max ( White text on Red background ) Anything above is the same colour - the number will keep going up ! Z4 : 80% - 90% ( black on yellow ) Z3 : 70% - 80% ( black on green ) Z2 : 60% - 70 % ( white on blue ) Z1 : 50% - 60% ( black on grey ) Z0 : below 50% ( white on brown ) Negative zones included - will remain the same colour. Zone to 1 decimal place + Lap timer at the top of the screen - pausing the workout won't pause the timer as it's based on elapsed time, like all other data in this app - useful for racing/not being able to cheat !! + Previous lap value | ZX.X including colour formatting Tested on Garmin Forerunner 955 with it set up on 2 screens : 3B ( the new one ) & 3A ( the GAP screen used for race paces which includes labels and a wider central band ). + works in harmony with timed workouts so no need to press lap button - it's automatic + also works well with structured intervals *Note : PacePro plans not supported - a new segment doesn't trigger a lap Tip: To dismiss the lap alert screen quick-press the menu button ( middle-left on FR955 ) + custom elapsed timer built using system timer & code adjusted to make stats update more responsively in certain scenarios Any questions contact me. Please consider a small donation & suggest any future features in a review or on e-mail. 00.07.01 [1] Workouts now supported so each step triggers an internal lap Previously the interval training status remained in REST mode if you were running a workout. It will keep toggling between RUN and REST for each completed workout step now. 00.06.01 RUN PACE ( White on Blue ) screen now gives you all the paces in the menu & the label toggles between "RUN PACE" ( or RUN SPEED if KPH or MPH ) and the units you have selected. 00.05.01 Initial public release
