About

The NEW release adds the bike trainer control of the Resistance, the Target Power, and the torque calculation. The BikeTrainer Application provides real-time data visualization and control of ANT+ FE-C compatible bike trainer. The data monitored are speed, distance, cadence, power, torque, and workout duration. The trainer device capabilities Basic Resistance and Target Power are controlled. The Simulation mode capability is not implemented. The heart rate can be monitored via heart rate ATN+ device or embedded HR sensor. At the end of the workout, the data can be saved to the connect.garmin.com. Any application improvement suggestions or bugs notification is appreciated. How to use: Switch on the fitness equipment ( bike trainer ) start the BikeTrainer app. In some seconds the application joins with the fitness equipment. Enter : in the main menu start/pause the workout Up/Down : change from the main menu to the capabilities menu Enter : in the capabilities menu, selects the trainer mode Up/Down : in the capabilities menu, with the trainer mode selected, changes the resistance percentage (5% step) or the target power value (4W step) Back : exit to application or return to the main menu from the capabilities menu KNOW BUGS - The app cannot store main data (total_distance total_calories) in Garmin Connect because garmin does not allow to store this information from a user application.
