About

GPXRadar adds two readable pieces of information to a Garmin cycling activity: the next WATER stop and the next FOOD stop. From the GPXRadar Android app: 1. Load a GPX track and search for useful places. 2. Add the GPXRadar field to an Edge data screen. 3. Tap the green Garmin button in GPXRadar to refresh the Edge. The field shows the name and distance of the next water or food stop, together with the following stop. The Edge stores the latest synchronization locally and can automatically request the next page from the phone before the buffer ends. Garmin native course navigation remains separate from the GPXRadar field. For native guidance, also import or send the course through Garmin Connect. Requires the GPXRadar Android app and Garmin Connect Mobile. Compatible with Edge 540/540 Solar, 550, 840/840 Solar, 850, 1040/1040 Solar, 1050, Explore 2 and Edge MTB. The field receives a compact route and POIs from the GPXRadar application. This data remains stored locally on the phone and Edge. GPS position is used on the Edge to calculate the next stop and its distance. The field does not send this information to a GPXRadar server.

What's new

The field now follows the Edge language automatically. WATER/FOOD labels, empty state, synchronization messages and fallback labels are available in English, French, Spanish and German.
