Race Mango Map Heist
· v1.0.3.
About
Map Heist is a territory game on racemango.com the map is split into hexagons, and every run, walk or ride you record claims the hexes you cross. Hold them, defend them, take them from rivals, and climb the season's classifications.
This data field is the automatic way in. Add it to a data screen of your run, walk or ride profile and every activity you save is sent to Race Mango by itself, through the Garmin Connect app on your phone. Nothing to export, nothing to upload.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in at racemango.com, open Map Heist and join a league.
2. Under Settings & identity - Garmin watch, press Connect a Garmin watch to get a 6-character pairing code.
3. In the Garmin Connect app open Connect IQ - Map Heist - Settings and type the code.
4. Add the field to a data screen. Pairing completes when your next activity syncs.
WHAT THE FIELD SHOWS
- Before you start: how your previous activity went ("+7 tiles", "In review").
- While recording: REC, with the number of GPS samples kept.
WHAT IS SENT
A 25 m sample of your track with time, heart rate and cadence, plus your watch's own distance, ascent and timer. Nothing else. Your data is processed under Race Mango's privacy policy (racemango.com/privacy-policy) and only ever shown inside the game you joined.
REQUIREMENTS
- A free Race Mango account and a Map Heist league.
- Your phone with the Garmin Connect app near the watch after the activity (it relays the upload).
- Connect IQ 3.2 or newer sends the sport along; on Connect IQ 3.1 watches (the fenix 5 family) an admin approves each activity by hand.

What's new
Pairing fixes. If the code you entered has expired or was already used, the watch now stops retrying and shows ERR until you enter a new one, instead of trying again every five minutes. Codes issued on racemango.com now stay valid for 7 days.
