xDrip+/Spike/Nightscout Widget
· v3.52
About
This widget gets your CGM bloodglucose readings directly from xDrip+ app (Android only). If you change the settings you can use this Widget also with AndroidAPS (Android only), Spike app (iOS only) or with a web request from your Nightscout installation.
This widget also works with Diabox if "Share data with smartwatches" is enabled (Diabox: Settings - Integrations) and "xDrip+" is selected in the watchface settings (Garmin Connect Mobile).
+++++
PLEASE READ THIS ADVISORY
Never make a medical decision based on a reading that you see on this widget e.g. your watch. Always perform a fingerstick blood glucose check first.
+++++
The readme of my watchface also answers some questions that may arise in connection with this widget:

FIRST: INSTALL COMPANION APP
You need to install the xDrip+ or Spike app or Diabox or get CGM readings via web request from Nightscout:
- https://github.com/NightscoutFoundation/xDrip/releases
- https://github.com/Nightscout/AndroidAPS/
- https://spike-app.com
- https://www.bubblan.org/diabox/
You didn't find these apps in app stores!
To enable communications between this widget and the Android companion app xDrip+ you have to enable “xDrip Web Service”, "Open Web Service" must be disabled (xDrip+: Settings - Inter-app settings).
AAPS can also be queried directly to show your loop status. You need v3.2.0.4 or newer. Activate the Garmin plugin in the Config Builder, but do not define a request key (leave the field blank).
For Spike you have to enable the Internal HTTP Server (Settings - Integration - Internal HTTP Server).
Another way to view your CGM data is to query the Nightscout values via the internet. Please enter your url _WITHOUT_ "https://" and "/api/etc."!
2. CHECK YOUR SETTINGS via GARMIN Connect Mobile App!
- Source of your bg readings
- mmol/l or mg/dl?
- Target range
ERROR CODES
If you get an error code, look at https://developer.garmin.com/downloads/connect-iq/monkey-c/doc/Toybox/Communications.html to understand the problem.
Normally error codes are caused by problems with your bluetooth connection. This problems are not caused by the app ...
