This app aids in sensing the cabin pressure altitude inside of pressurized cockpits. It does not display your aircraft's altitude above ground. If your cabin pressure altitude rises higher than a value you set, then the app will sound an audible and vibrating alarm that lasts for five seconds and repeats every 30 seconds until the cabin pressure altitude falls below the the alarm you set. You can change the cabin pressure altitude alarm setting via your phone or on the watch itself. The current alarm setting will display as “AHIGH” in the app in thousands of feet MSL (rounded down to thousands of feet). The alarm’s default setting is at 15,000' MSL; the same alarm setting that’s used by the 176th Fighter Squadron for daily flying in the F-16. However, you may decide that a different alarm is better based on the cabin pressurization schedule of your aircraft and your normal altitudes when flying. Finally, our app displays as many as 3 different times: • Local- This is tied to your watch face setting. • Zulu • Home – This can be set inside the app or through your phone.
