About

**EndurancePro** is a Connect IQ data field built for trail and ultra-trail running, for anyone who wants a pace that reflects real effort rather than raw ground speed. Instead of showing a "flat" pace that means little uphill or downhill, EndurancePro computes an **effort pace** corrected for elevation gain/loss, pack weight and — optionally — temperature. You finally know whether you're speeding up or slowing down relative to your actual effort, not just relative to flat ground. ### Key features - **Corrected effort pace** — two modes (Standard / Mountain) with adjustable climb and descent coefficients, tuned to your own running profile. - **Pace or speed, your choice** — switch between min/km and km/h; labels, target value, colorization and .FIT recording all adapt automatically, and you can set your target speed directly in km/h. - **VAM (vertical ascent speed)** — customizable zone display, with several display modes (VAM only, grade %, lap average, or alternating between all three). - **Weather correction** — a thermo-hygric factor adjusts your target pace based on temperature and humidity, so heat or cold doesn't catch you off guard. - **Combinable alarms** — VAM, pace and heart rate, with custom thresholds, vibration and/or sound feedback, and native watch toast notifications that stay out of the way of your data. - **Lap tracking** — current lap pace and average VAM, alternating with session averages. - **Configurable secondary metric** — fatigue, calories, effort distance, battery %, battery life remaining, Body Battery or thermal+pack correction, on two slots that alternate automatically. - **Remaining distance** — to the next waypoint or the end of the course, alternating automatically. - **Light and dark themes** — clear, high-contrast icons and readouts in both, for glare or low light. - **Enhanced .FIT recording** — effort pace/speed, VAM, coefficients and effort distance saved to the activity for later analysis in Garmin Connect. ### Configurable right on the watch — no phone needed Every setting (alarms, VAM zones, pace coefficients, pack weight, secondary metric, display options, HR zone, battery mode...) can be changed **directly from the watch**, organized into clear categories including a dedicated Display folder, with a long press on the Up button during an activity. Perfect for races or long outings in areas with no signal or Bluetooth. ### Available in 6 languages English, Français, Italiano, Español, Português, Deutsch. --- ## Suggested keywords trail, ultra-trail, VAM, elevation, effort pace, mountain, hiking, endurance, heart rate, alarm, data field --- ## Compatible devices epix 2 / epix 2 Pro, fēnix 7 (Pro/S/X variants), fēnix 8 Solar, fēnix E, Enduro 3, Forerunner 965, Venu 3 / 3S.

What's new

## [2.2.2] **New** - 4 new secondary metric options: battery %, estimated battery life remaining, Body Battery, and the thermal+pack correction applied to your pace. - The heart-rate alarm threshold now stays in sync across its 3 modes (Zone / BPM / %max HR) — switching modes shows the equivalent value instead of resetting to a default. **Changed** - Alarm notifications (VAM / pace-speed / heart rate) now use the watch's native toast notification instead of a full-screen popup — less intrusive, and visible even on another data screen. - The alarm menu is reorganized: the notification setting is now a simple On/Off toggle at the top of the folder. --- ## [2.2.1] **Changed** - Alarm notifications (VAM / pace-speed / heart rate) now use the watch's native toast notification instead of a full custom popup — less intrusive, your data stays visible, and the notification now appears even if you're viewing a different data screen at the time. - The "Alarm popup" setting is now a simple On/Off switch (the 3s/5s/10s duration choice no longer applies, since the system controls how long the notification stays on screen). --- ## [2.1.2] **New** - Complete rework of the FIT file fields (RECORD/LAP/SESSION) — clearer field set, each group of fields now has its own independent toggle (8 toggles total, Garmin Connect only). - The FIT recording pace/speed unit is now independent from the on-watch display unit: the display unit can still be changed during an activity, while the FIT recording unit is fixed once the activity starts (phone-only setting, labeled "FIT recording" to avoid confusion). **Fixed** - Record-level FIT fields (effort pace/speed, temperature+pack correction, pack weight) now display correctly as time-series charts in Garmin Connect. - Fixed missing or incorrect unit labels on several FIT fields (%, min/km, km/h, coefficient "x"). - Speed fields now show 1 decimal place instead of 3. **Removed** - Removed the redundant global "FIT recording" toggle — each field group already has its own dedicated toggle. --- ## [2.1.1] **Fixed** - Fixed a crash (blank "IQ" screen) when switching the pace/speed unit (min/km ↔ km/h) from Garmin Connect. --- ## [2.1.0] **Fixed** - Better handling of the pace/speed unit in recorded data and statistics, and fixed related crashes on some devices. - More accurate, more readable VAM and target pace settings on the watch. - Improved icon contrast in light mode. **New** - New "Display" settings folder grouping appearance-related settings. - Target speed can now be set directly in km/h. - Labels automatically switch between pace and speed depending on the selected unit. --- ## [2.0.0] **Fixed** - Average pace now displays correctly as mm:ss in Garmin Connect statistics (previously shown as a decimal number). - Speed fields now show the correct "Speed" label instead of "Pace" when the km/h unit is selected. **New** - Full on-watch settings menu — change alarms, VAM zones, pace coefficients, secondary metric and more directly from the watch, no phone or network needed. Access it with a long press on Up during an activity. - Adjustable large-font display option for better readability. - Configurable secondary metric with 2 independent slots (None / Fatigue / Calories / Effort km) — pick one metric per slot, they alternate automatically when different. - Settings reorganized into clear categories (Pace, VAM, Alarms, Coefficients) with simple checkboxes where it makes sense.
