Endurance Pro - Trail Pacer
· v2.5.0
About
**EndurancePro** is a Connect IQ data field built for trail and ultra-trail running, for anyone
who wants a pace that reflects real effort rather than raw ground speed.
Instead of showing a "flat" pace that means little uphill or downhill, EndurancePro computes
an **effort pace** corrected for elevation gain/loss, pack weight and — optionally —
temperature. You finally know whether you're speeding up or slowing down relative to your
actual effort, not just relative to flat ground.
### Key features
- **Corrected effort pace** — two modes (Standard / Mountain) with adjustable climb and
descent coefficients, tuned to your own running profile.
- **Pace or speed, your choice** — switch between min/km and km/h; labels, target value,
colorization and .FIT recording all adapt automatically, and you can set your target speed
directly in km/h.
- **VAM (vertical ascent speed)** — customizable zone display, with several display modes
(VAM only, grade %, lap average, or alternating between all three).
- **Weather correction** — a thermo-hygric factor adjusts your target pace based on
temperature and humidity, so heat or cold doesn't catch you off guard.
- **Combinable alarms** — VAM, pace and heart rate, with custom thresholds, vibration and/or
sound feedback, and native watch toast notifications that stay out of the way of your data.
- **Lap tracking** — current lap pace and average VAM, alternating with session averages.
- **Configurable secondary metric** — fatigue, calories, effort distance, battery %, battery
life remaining, Body Battery or thermal+pack correction, on two slots that alternate
automatically.
- **Remaining distance** — to the next waypoint or the end of the course, alternating
automatically.
- **Light and dark themes** — clear, high-contrast icons and readouts in both, for glare or
low light.
- **Enhanced .FIT recording** — effort pace/speed, VAM, coefficients and effort distance saved
to the activity for later analysis in Garmin Connect.
### Configurable right on the watch — no phone needed
Every setting (alarms, VAM zones, pace coefficients, pack weight, secondary metric, display
options, HR zone, battery mode...) can be changed **directly from the watch**, organized into
clear categories including a dedicated Display folder, with a long press on the Up button
during an activity. Perfect for races or long outings in areas with no signal or Bluetooth.
### Available in 6 languages
English, Français, Italiano, Español, Português, Deutsch.

What's new
## [2.2.10]
**New**
- The alarm popup is back: choose between a full-screen popup drawn by the app (guaranteed 3/5/10s display, closes on its own, no button press needed) or the watch's native notification, from the watch menu.
- Alarms (VAM / pace / heart rate) are now automatically silenced while a Garmin structured workout is running, since Garmin already handles its own step alerts.
**Changed**
- The "Alarm" setting now controls vibration, sound and the visual alert together (previously it only muted the visual popup, vibration/sound kept firing).
- Climb/descent correction now uses direct meter equivalents (e.g. "100m of climb ≈ 1km flat") instead of an abstract multiplier — same default behavior, more intuitive to adjust from the watch.
**Removed**
- Removed the redundant session-level "pack weight" FIT field — already available at record and lap level.
**Fixed**
- Lap-level average pace/speed (Standard and Mountain) now correctly appear in Garmin Connect's lap table — they used to show as blank/"--" for every lap.
- FIT field labels (effort pace, temperature correction, climb/descent coefficients, etc.) now display correctly in every supported language instead of falling back to English.
- The on-watch settings menu is now fully translated — it used to show mostly blank labels in some languages.
- The session-level temperature-correction FIT field now reads "ON"/"OFF" in Garmin Connect instead of "1"/"0".
---
## [2.2.8]
**New**
- Optional 1px outline around D+ or D- (whichever matches the current climb/descent direction) — toggle in the Colorization folder.
- The "Circuit" setting is now a folder with independent on/off toggles for each lap-specific value (D+/D-, average pace, distance, timer) — the lap counter itself always stays visible as long as circuit tracking is on.
**Changed**
- 260x260 icon set refined with per-icon widths.
---
## [2.2.7]
**New**
- Ascent (D+) and descent (D-) are now tracked per lap, alongside distance, pace and VAM — visible during the lap-circuit display.
**Changed**
- Lap stopwatch now follows the Garmin timer instead of a wall clock, so it correctly freezes during a pause.
**Fixed**
- Lap counter no longer drifts out of sync after cancelling a lap.
---
## [2.2.6]
**New**
- New "Show clock" toggle in the Display menu — hide the clock time if you prefer not to see it.
- Battery life remaining can now be shown to the left of the pace-mode icon, via a simple ON/OFF toggle.
**Changed**
- Settings menus now open with your current choice already highlighted, instead of always starting at the top of the list.
- Lap counter is now hidden when lap-circuit mode is turned off.
**Fixed**
- Fixed the heart-rate zone ring visually overlapping the data values around it.
---
## [2.2.5]
**New**
- New option to calculate the pack-weight correction relative to your body weight instead of a flat percentage per kg, read from your Garmin profile.
- New battery icon next to the battery bar.
**Changed**
- The Temp+Pack correction value no longer shows a "+" sign, since it's always positive.
- Enduro 3 now uses its own dedicated, more precisely calibrated layout.
**Fixed**
- Fixed the temperature/humidity pace correction being applied in the wrong direction in some conditions, plus a small discontinuity at the edge of one of its temperature bands.
---
## [2.2.4]
**New**
- New independent visual modes (Off/Bar/Background/Font) for VAM colorization and for pace/speed colorization (instantaneous and average, set separately) — Font mode colors the value's text instead of drawing a bar/background.
- New "Colorization" folder on the watch, grouping all zone-colorization settings (HR zone, VAM, pace/speed instantaneous and average) that used to be split across the Display folder.
- New pace-mode indicator icon (Flat/Standard/Mountain) next to the clock, colored to match the active pace mode.
**Changed**
- The bottom clock separator is now a single straight line spanning the full width of the wat
