Instinct Weather

This is a simple weather forecast widget for Instinct MIP devices that shows the daily forecast for the upcoming 3 days and the hourly forecast (including dew point and UV index on a separate page) for the upcoming 12 hours. Weather data for your location will be fetched once per hour in the background. Make sure you have a recent GPS location fix by either starting an activity or holding the GPS button for a manual fix. Weather data is fetched using the free API access from Open-Meteo.com (See: https://open-meteo.com/en/license) You can choose which weather model should be used for the forecast in the app settings in Connect IQ.

1.4.2: - Fixed potential crash from 1.4.0 update 1.4.0: - Added wind speed (in either km/h or mph, depending on your system settings) and wind direction (in degrees) and refactored app code for better memory usage (animations are gone now, though). - In the daily page, you can cycle between temp/rain and wind info with the "Select/GPS" key. In the hourly pages, the up/down buttons are used just as before. - NOTE: if you experience a crash after the update, hold down the MENU button on the Daily page to force-refresh the data. 1.3.4: - Fixed support for different weather models even if they don't return all forecast values. Missing values will be automatically filled in from Best Match. 1.3.3: - Fixed serious crash for new users. 1.3.2: - Only use Best Match weather model for now as the other models don't return all forecast variables. Will be worked around in a future update. 1.3.1: - Added support for 12-hour format depending on device settings - Hopefully fixed potential crash issue when data is stale 1.3.0: - Added ability to select weather model in app settings in Connect IQ.
