About

Spring is a wrist-based companion for Pilates reformer and mat sessions. Pick Reformer or Mat, choose a flow, preview the full workout, then tap through each move at your own pace. Each card shows the move name, variation, focus cue, and concise setup notes — plus the spring load on reformer flows, or the body position (supine, prone, standing) on mat flows. When you are in class or training from a video, Spring keeps the next move and setup visible without needing your phone nearby. Spring is also a great teaching tool. Instructors can drive an entire class from the wrist: the sequence, the cues, and every spring change are one glance away, so you stay hands-free and eyes-up with your students instead of on paper notes or a phone. Custom flows are here. Design your own reformer and mat Pilates flows at springflows.dev and sync them straight to your wrist. How to set it up (once): 1. Sign in at springflows.dev and open Pair Your Watch to get a 6-character code. 2. In the Garmin Connect IQ phone app, open Spring → Settings and enter the code. 3. Your flows show up under a new My Flows category on the watch. After that, Spring syncs automatically every time you open it — or tap Sync flows on the main screen anytime. The built-in flows still work with no account and no phone needed. ### Features - Six built-in reformer flows: Foundations, Core Base, Core Focus, Classical, Functional, and Foundations II - Four built-in mat flows: Mat Classics, Wake-Up Flow, Core Burner, and Mat Strength (20-40 minutes) - Reformer / Mat category menu to switch between equipment - Full workout overview before you start - Move-by-move cards with concise form and setup cues - Color-coded spring load chips for red and blue springs - Manual tap-to-advance pacing, so you stay in control - Progress dots showing where you are in the session - Activity recording support for Garmin Connect - Summary screen with available workout stats - AMOLED-friendly dark interface - Text size setting (Standard / Large / XLarge / XXLarge) — change it on the watch or in the Connect IQ phone app - Designed for modern round Garmin touch devices ### Built For - Reformer Pilates classes - Mat Pilates, at home or in the studio - Instructors driving a class hands-free from the wrist - At-home reformer sessions - Following workout videos without constantly checking your phone - Keeping spring changes and exercise order organized - Beginner through advanced flows where clear pacing matters ### How It Works 1. Pick a flow from the library. 2. Review the move list and spring loads. 3. Tap Begin Flow. 4. Advance manually as you complete each move. 5. Save the workout to Garmin Connect when finished. Spring does not count reps or correct form automatically. It is a lightweight workout guide and logging companion for people who already know the movement or are following an instructor. ## Feature Bullets For Store Listing - Guided reformer Pilates flow app for Garmin watches - Move cards with names, variations, focus cues, and setup notes - Spring load display with red and blue spring indicators - Manual pacing for live classes and workout videos - Records a Garmin Connect activity using the Fit permission - Clean AMOLED-friendly design ## Keywords pilates, reformer, mat, spring, springs, workout, training, fitness, core, mobility, strength, class, flow, instructor, teacher, teaching, garmin connect, activity recording, red spring, blue spring, at home, studio ## Category Health & Fitness ## Suggested Screenshots Use screenshots that show: - Flow library showing the six flows - Foundations overview list - Core Base overview list - A heavy spring move card - A light spring move card - A one-blue-spring Core Base card

What's new

## 1.7.1 - Saved activities now carry the springflows.dev credit in their title, like "Reformer - Classical by https://springflows.dev", so it's easy to find where a flow came from ## 1.7.0 - New Color theme setting with six palettes: Reformer (warm sand), Graphite (cool periwinkle), Sage (green), Coral (rose), Noir (monochrome), and Studio Light (ink on limewash) — pick one in the Connect IQ phone app. - Five themes keep a true-black background for AMOLED power efficiency; Studio Light is a bright option for MIP displays. - Spring-load chip colors stay consistent across every theme, so the resistance cues never change meaning. ## 1.6.0 - New: My Flows. Build custom reformer and mat flows at springflows.dev and sync them to the watch. They appear as a third category next to Reformer and Mat (only once you've synced at least one). - New: watch pairing. A one-time 6-character code links your watch to your springflows.dev account — no password ever typed on the watch. - New: Sync button on the main screen, plus automatic sync each time you open the app. - Added the Communications permission (required to fetch flows over your phone's connection). - All ten built-in flows are unchanged and still work fully offline. ## 1.5.0 - Finished flows now save to Garmin Connect as a Pilates activity instead of a generic training activity, so they show up with the right icon and count toward your Pilates history - Saved activities are named after the flow you did, like "Reformer - Foundations" or "Mat Classics", making sessions easy to find later - Fixed: backing out of a flow could leave the recording running in the background, so the next flow you started was saved under the previous flow's name ## 1.4.0 - New Mat category with four flows: Wake-Up Flow (20 min), Core Burner (25 min), Mat Classics (30 min), and Mat Strength (40 min) - New top-level menu to switch between Reformer and Mat workouts - Mat cards show body position (supine, prone, standing...) in place of springs - Long cue lists now scroll (swipe or UP/DOWN) and text word-wraps at every size — nothing is ever cut off - Text size (Aa) control moved to the top-level menu ## 1.3.0 - Added XLarge and XXLarge text sizes (four sizes total; the Aa pill cycles through all of them) ## 1.2.0 - New Text size setting — Large (default) or Standard; change it from the Aa pill in the flow library or the Connect IQ phone app - Change springs screen no longer truncates long move titles; the variation now shows on its own line - Removed 4 devices that never met the app's minimum API level (fēnix 5 Plus series, Venu Mercedes-Benz) 1.1.0 - Four new flows: Core Focus (32 min), Classical (42 min), Functional (34 min), and Foundations II (48 min) — an advanced take on Foundations featuring Serve the Tray and Teaser with straps - Library screen now scrolls to fit all six flows - Slightly larger body and label text for readability
