How It Saves Your Battery (Under the Hood): Zero Sensor Polling: No heart rate history checks, no active activity tracking loops, and no GPS/location requests. If the watch hardware is running sensors, this watch face won't ask for the data, letting the processor sleep. No High-Power Mode Updates: Most watch faces update every single second (with a ticking second hand or seconds counter). This watch face updates only once per minute—saving thousands of screen draws per hour. Ultra-Minimal Display: Drawn using a clean, native system font on a pure black background (which consumes virtually zero extra power). Smart Resource Drawing: The date is drawn above the time ONLY at the top of the hour (when minutes = 0).
