Padel Ultimate 2
· v5.14
About
Padel Ultimate keeps the score of your padel match on your wrist - one press per point - and saves the whole match as a Garmin activity. Focus on your game, not the score.
Note: This is the current version of Padel Ultimate, actively maintained and updated. If you previously used an older Padel Ultimate, please switch to this one for the latest features and fixes.
See padelultimate.net for upcoming features!
◆ Instant start: the Home screen shows your match setup at a glance.
◆ Standard mode: Best of 3, Best of 5 or unlimited sets, or a 9-game Pro Set, with an optional final Super Tiebreak. Golden Point, Silver Point, Star Point or traditional Advantage rules.
◆ Mexicano/Americano Game Mode: Win on total points, first to X points, or on time.
◆ Server tracking: a clear indicator shows who is serving and from which side; switch the serving side, player or even team from the menu.
◆ Easy scoring: buttons (Up/Down) or touch (tap top/bottom); Back undoes the last point. Haptic confirmation for every point, with a distinct vibration for Undo (can be turned off).
◆ Live view: the score, the serve, live heart rate, time of day and match duration.
◆ On-watch history: all-time stats plus recent matches with set-by-set results, set times and the longest game. A Mexicano/Americano evening is kept as one Session record.
◆ Persistent Match Setup: Customize your match format and rules through a Settings menu. Set persistent rules for scoring, sets, and serving to be applied automatically, or choose the "Ask at start" option for quick setup before each match. Enter Settings by holding Up, or by swiping.
◆ Garmin Connect: saving logs your final score, heart rate, steps, GPS (if enabled) and game-by-game scores as lap splits - the match appears in Garmin Connect like any native sport.

Known issue: On some newer Garmin watches (Forerunner 255/265/955/965, Venu 3 and fenix 8 families) the watch can keep the GPS receiver and the heart-rate sensor in workout mode after an app that recorded an activity has closed - even after a properly saved match. This is a Garmin firmware bug acknowledged to developers, not something the app controls; the app switches everything off when you save. The sign: the green light on the back stays on after you close the app, and the battery drops a few percent per hour. Until Garmin fixes it, restart the watch after playing (hold LIGHT, Power off, then on). Affected? Email [email protected] with your watch model and software version so we can push Garmin to fix this.
What's new
5.14
- Enable "real Padel activity" mitigation for Forerunner 55
5.13
- Fix for stubborn Garmin bug where older devices don't know what Padel is, so it falls back to Tennis. Now every activity is Padel.
5.12

- On watches whose firmware predates the Padel activity type (e.g. the fenix 6 series), matches are recorded as Tennis for now - scores and stats are unaffected. Padel classification will return for confirmed compatible watches in a future update. If your device records the activity as Tennis and you are willing to tryout the beta app, please write to [email protected]
5.11
- Added support for the new Garmin watches
- Small fixes and internal improvements.
- Coming soon: automatic match sync to your phone. This update adds the permissions sync will need (internet, background, sensors, fitness profile).
