Grade datafield

This datafield calculates the grade in the current activity by adding the distance and the altitude during the previous X seconds (10 seconds by default).

The number of seconds to calculate the grade is configurable. Dependding on the type of activity you realizes, you can select, by example, 10 seconds for road bike, or 15 seconds for mountain bike, or 20 seconds for running. You can select any value between 5 and 30 seconds.
