A Garmin watch face that reads the time as words rather than numbers - clear and simple, built on modernist graphic design and technical drafting conventions. A Helvetica-style typeface, bold and geometric, is set against a precise structural grid. VERSAL gets its name from the german word for 'uppercase'. Layouts are drawn specifically for each display type rather than simply scaled — MIP devices get a build tuned to their resolution and colour depth.
