About

Is your current riding position really the fastest? [How many watts could you save by tweaking your hood angle?] [How much drag do you actually reduce when riding in the drops?] Aero Track Checker analyzes aerodynamic resistance in real time during your ride, visualizing your aerodynamic efficiency directly on your data field. Test and optimize your most efficient aero position on your local roads without needing an expensive wind tunnel. [Accuracy Disclaimer (Important)] This app uses a physics estimation model based on speed, weather data, and power to calculate the coefficient of aerodynamic drag (CdA) and power loss/saved, rather than direct measurement from pitot tubes or dedicated aero sensors. Even with a power meter, the displayed CdA is an estimated value calculated by algorithms. Please note that errors compared to real-world measurements may occur. [Key Features] * Dynamic Aero Class Detection Analyzes your riding posture and conditions in real time, automatically determining 5 distinct stages. Display colors and layouts change dynamically. 1) SUPER AERO STYLE - Extreme aerodynamic position 2) Flagship Class - Deep aero position (e.g., riding in the drops) 3) Aero Road Class - Standard riding position (e.g., on the hoods / baseline) 4) City Bike Class - Upright position with higher drag 5) Stopped - Stationary / foot down * Real-Time Performance Tracking Compares your current position with the baseline position (Aero Road Class) in 1-watt increments in real time. - High aero efficiency: Saved watts (e.g., +15W Saved) - Increased resistance: Loss watts (e.g., -10W Loss) Instantly spot disruptions in your form and evaluate position differences. * Relative Wind Direction and Speed Compass Combines weather data via your smartphone with your heading to visualize wind direction (headwind, tailwind, crosswind) at the bottom of the screen. Arrows indicate wind flow relative to your direction of movement (F=Front / B=Back / L=Left / R=Right). [NEW: Data Recording to Garmin Connect (FIT File Integration)] CdA (aerodynamic drag coefficient) and saved/loss watts measured during your ride are now automatically recorded to the FIT file so you can review them on Garmin Connect. - Graph Display: CdA trend and time-series graph of saved/loss watts (DeltaW) - Activity Summary: Average CdA and average saved/loss watts for the entire ride (Data is recorded only when a power meter is connected) [Operating Modes (Auto-switching based on bike equipment)] - With Power Meter: Calculates aerodynamic drag coefficient (CdA) on the fly during steady riding with minimal acceleration/deceleration, using measured power, cadence, speed, and wind speed (e.g., 0.25). - Without Power Meter: Estimates current total drag resistance (Drag Watts) including air resistance, rolling resistance, and climbing resistance based on physics formulas using airspeed and speed. [Recommended Environment and Requirements] - Keep connected to your smartphone with location and weather data permissions enabled. - Pairing with a power meter and cadence sensor is recommended to improve the accuracy of real-time CdA and saved watt calculations. [Trial and Purchase] Aero Track Checker offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. Test your equipment and body position on real rides. After the trial period, continue using it with a one-time single purchase. [A Note from the Developer] Enjoying Aero Track Checker? If you find this app helpful for your rides and training, please consider leaving a 5-star rating on the store! It really supports independent development.
