About
Hello! Welcome to PomoMin. PomoMin is an application designed to use the Pomodoro Technique on your Garmin watch. I developed it because there was no app where the timer would keep running in the background (meaning you don't have to keep the app open for the timer to continue). With PomoMin, the timer stays active in the background, so you can exit the app and receive a notification when the timer ends. I'm not sure if any others do this currently (maybe yes), but for years PomoMin was the first.
The app is simple, no need for complicated descriptions, fancy words, or AI gimmicks to catch your attention: it’s just an app for using the Pomodoro Technique on Garmin in an easy way. It contains only what's necessary: 25-minute work intervals and 5-minute break intervals. Each interval type is displayed with different colors in the interface so you can clearly see which one you're in. When an interval ends, it vibrates, sounds an alert, and sends a notification. Plus, you can customize it all to your liking: change interval durations, include long breaks every 4 short breaks, choose what information shows on the screen, and adjust what types of notifications you want to receive. Not much more.
Lastly, I want to say that privacy is very important to me. PomoMin does not capture any data about users, usage, or anything else. No information leaves your device to me. The only thing I receive from the app are comments, questions, or suggestions users send me through the Garmin app store or email. You can contact me at [email protected]. I personally read all messages and try to reply as quickly as possible, so I encourage you to write with any questions, comments, suggestions, or complaints. You can also learn more about me here: artinvan.com.
PomoMin is gaining more users than I ever expected and is proving very helpful to many people, which makes me very happy. If you want to leave a tip to support development, you can do so here: https://ko-fi.com/serml
Thank you very much for reading and for using PomoMin!
What's new
This update includes the option to customize the vibration pattern. You can now choose the number of vibrations that play at the end of each interval (the range is limited between 1 and 4).
Thank you for your feedback and support!
