About

Burnout Detector turns the wellness signals your Garmin already tracks into one clear daily score, so you can spot when your body needs a break before it catches up with you. HOW IT WORKS The app reads the signals your watch records throughout the day — stress, Body Battery, resting heart rate, respiration rate, and overnight Recharge — and combines them into a single Burnout Risk Score from 0 to 100. Instead of comparing you to a generic average, it learns your own personal baseline over the first few days, so the score reflects what is normal for YOU. WHAT YOU GET - Daily Score — a clean circular gauge, color-coded from green (low) to red (high), with a day-to-day change indicator - Automatic Tracking (NEW) — your score is recorded every hour in the background, so your history stays complete even on days you never open the app - Risk Breakdown — see exactly which of the five factors is driving your score, bar by bar - Today vs Usual (NEW) — flip the breakdown to see your raw numbers next to your personal baseline - Trend Graph — track the past 7–30 days with your weekly average, and spot patterns early - Recovery Streak (NEW) — count the days you stay in the green zone - Smart Insight — a focused suggestion based on whatever needs the most attention today - 1-Minute Breathing (NEW) — a guided breathe-in / breathe-out session, one press away from the Insight screen - Profiles (NEW) — Balanced, Night Shift, or Athlete: the score adapts to how you live and train - Glance Support — check your score from the glance carousel without opening the app - Optional Alerts — a gentle vibration nudge when your risk climbs PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs entirely on your watch. No account, no internet connection, no data ever leaves your wrist. Your wellness information stays yours. LIGHT ON BATTERY Background tracking wakes up briefly once per hour to read values your watch has already recorded — no extra sensor use, no continuous processing, negligible battery impact. LANGUAGES Available in English, French, and Spanish. Switch anytime in Settings. GOOD TO KNOW During the first 3 days the app shows a CALIBRATING status while it learns your baseline — scores become reliable after that. Burnout Detector is a wellness and self-awareness tool designed to help you reflect on your daily recovery and energy. It is not a medical device and does not provide clinical advice. Always listen to your body and consult a qualified professional for any health concerns. Some signals require a compatible device with the matching sensors. When a signal is unavailable, the app adjusts automatically and works with whatever data your watch provides.

New signal set — Respiration & Recharge replace HRV & Sleep Connect IQ has no API for HRV or Sleep. Both new signals are genuinely readable on every supported device. - 2. All 5 rows always visible on Breakdown Factors with no data show -- in grey instead of disappearing. The scoring math is unchanged — only the display. - 3. Smarter Coach — 4 new combo rules The app now reads multiple signals together, so it can tell "a night that didn't restore you" apart from "physical strain on top of fine sleep." - 4. Hold BACK 2 seconds to save and exit A short press still goes back one screen. The hold calls saveAll() before System.exit(), which skips onStop() and would otherwise lose the day's data. - 5. Settings reachable on touch-first watches vívoactive 6 and similar devices have no MENU shortcut for CIQ apps. An Action Menu indicator now opens Settings directly alongside the existing button path. - 6. Separate layout for large-screen watches fēnix 8, epix Pro 51 mm and Venu X1 now compile against a dedicated layout file — every font one step up, thicker gauge, taller rows. Editing it cannot affect small screens. - 7. Safe migration — no existing data lost sleepHours renames to recharge (same units, same value), history and baseline carry over intact. Only the pattern counters are cleared because their index meaning changed. - 8. Two build errors caught and fixed has is a reserved Monkey C operator and cannot name a function. fenix851mm is not a valid device qualifier in SDK 9.2.0 — removed from both jungle and manifest. - 9. Verified: still 100% on-device, no new permissions 25 setValue calls checked — zero Symbols written. No network API anywhere in source. Glance remains fully standalone. - 10. Three things deliberately left alone EMA baseline, Forecast, Pattern Learning, Recovery Streak, Quiet Hours, Breathing modes, the Glance and the full device list were not touched.
