About

CYBERPUNK — Carbon plate, bevelled plaques, four blocks of LEDs bolted onto the bezel. FREE TRIAL, THEN A SINGLE PAYMENT Install it and everything is unlocked for one hour: both dials, all 3 typefaces, all 6 themes, every gauge. When the hour is up, your watch shows a 6-digit code — go to kzl.io/code, enter it, and the unlock is permanent. No subscription, no second payment. Prefer to buy directly? The paid listing is here: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/9d682052-6ec7-4f28-ab84-03f8e85c3111 TWO DIALS IN ONE ANALOGUE — four numerals on raised plaques, filled hands with a glowing rim, four LED gauges between them. DIGITAL — no hands. The gauges take a quadrant each and run around the dial, and the hours move to a recessed screen in the centre. FOUR LED GAUGES Heart rate, steps, calories, Body Battery by default, or any of 14 metrics — active calories, distance, floors, intensity minutes, stress, Pulse Ox, respiration, battery. Any gauge can be switched off. THE EXACT FIGURE, ON DEMAND Tap the dial and the segments give way to the real number, curved along the gauge. Six seconds later the LEDs refill. No touchscreen? Turn on "Gauge values on wake" in Display settings and it happens each time you raise your wrist. 3 TYPEFACES, 6 THEMES Fracture, Cyborg, Turbine. Neon, Cobalt, Inferno, Vapor, Voltage, Overdrive — three colours each, all three used at once. WEATHER, DATE, ALWAYS-ON Temperature in its own window, °C or °F. Weekday or full date. And a real always-on mode: the dial switches off, only grey hands and grey numerals stay lit. 34 AMOLED WATCHES Venu 2, 2S, 2 Plus, 3, 3S, 4, Sq 2 · vívoactive 5, 6 · fēnix 8, 8 Pro, E · epix 2, Pro · Forerunner 165, 265, 570, 965, 970 · Instinct 3 AMOLED · Approach S50, S70 · D2 Air X10, Mach 1. What's new

Values under the gauges Each gauge can now show its value permanently, curved along the arc just below it. The old behaviour is gone: values no longer appear for a few seconds after a tap, and the gauges no longer disappear to make room for them. Long press to open the matching Garmin data Press and hold a gauge, its icon, the date or the temperature, and the corresponding Garmin screen opens. Thirty of the thirty-five measurements are covered: the seven-day totals open their daily counterpart, humidity, UV index, wind and precipitation all open the weather, and battery days opens the battery. Touchscreen watches only. Six new measurements Weight, and seven-day rolling totals for steps, calories, intensity minutes, floors and distance. A Weight unit setting sits next to the distance and temperature units, and every weight goal and label follows it. Measurements are now grouped by subject in the settings, so a measurement and its weekly and seven-day variants sit together instead of being scattered through the list. Live body data Heart rate, Pulse Ox, respiration, stress and Body Battery now read what the watch itself displays, refreshed continuously, instead of the last value it had recorded. Pulse Ox in particular no longer stays frozen on a reading taken hours earlier. Sharper icons All icons have been redrawn from their original artwork rather than resized from small images, and their housings are larger. Fixes The date no longer shows a filled rectangle in French and other languages, and the month is now abbreviated to three letters so the line keeps the same width all year. Stress, Body Battery, Pulse Ox, pressure and altitude no longer fall back to dashes at random. Respiration keeps its last known reading between two measurements. Sunrise and sunset now use the watch's last known position, so they keep working on watches whose weather data carries no location. On/off settings are now switches you tap, instead of a submenu. New permissions This update asks for location access and for complication access. Location is used only to compute sunrise and sunset; complications are what let the body measurements follow the watch in real time, and what makes the long press work. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
