Understated

Understated is a minimal analog watch face where the hour hand doubles as your battery gauge. A clean Roman-numeral dial with hour, minute, and an optional second hand — and nothing you don't need. As the battery drains, the "spent" portion of the hour hand fills in an accent color, so you can read your charge at a glance — no numbers, no icons. Add up to four data fields, at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions. Each one is your choice of metric, style, color, and size: • Choose from date, body battery, heart rate, steps, calories, distance, floors climbed, active minutes, move bar, stress, Pulse Ox, elevation, barometric pressure, temperature, device battery, notifications, and weather (temperature or condition) • Show it as a value, a label + value, an icon + value, or just an icon • Pick any color — including Accent, Muted, and Second hand, which follow the dial's theme — and a Tiny, Small, Medium, or Large size More: • Battery-as-hour-hand — a subtle, built-in battery gauge • 8 dial colors: Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Yellow, Black/Gold, Black/Silver, and Multi (a different color each day) — plus a Custom theme where you set every color yourself with hex codes • Optional second hand while the watch is awake • Crisp on every display — MIP and AMOLED, round and rectangular • AMOLED always-on, burn-in safe Configure everything from your phone in the Garmin Connect app — dial color, second hand, and all four data fields. A note on Multi: the daily rotation isn't random. Monday through Thursday go alphabetically — Blue, Green, Purple, Red. Friday and Saturday add a little bling — Black/Silver, then Black/Gold. What's new in 0.9.6 • Stability fix: on some watches the face could disappear right after you selected it. It now stays put — if anything goes wrong while drawing, it falls back to a plain clock instead of closing.
