About

Hi, do you need a bike field which has lots of information on one page but don't shrinks readability? Then Yet Another Bike Field may be for you. Furthermore this data field can be used for runners as well - the speed information switches automatically to pace if you use a running application. If you like my work, you can donate and support the YARF development via PayPal here: https://goo.gl/qRb7EH Note that heart rate coloring will vanish for non-supporters as soon as timer is started. The layout is borrowed from the Fenix 6X Pro with 8 datafields. Anyway to get the information readable the labels are omitted largely to use the entire space. The middle fields show the average heart rate and the current heart rate respctively. Their background colors are compliant with Garmins standard colors for heart rate zones: grey, blue, green, orange and red. The color heartrate zones (bike or running zones) are gathered automatically depending on the datafields selected sports. The heartrate fields divide the entire screen in an upper and lower screen. The upper fields show average speed and actual speed (or for running apps average pace and current pace), as well as burned calories on the top. The lower screen shows elapsed time and distance with the clock on the bottom. Note that supporters can tweak the upper and lower field to their needs: cadence, power, elevation or oxygen saturation (if sensor is available). Note that cadence fields are colored as well with Garmins standard coloring for cadence (Violet above185 spm, Blue: 174 – 185 spm, Green: 163 - 173 spm, Orange 151 - 162 spm, else Red). If you want a good running style you probably want to see a violet color. Furthermore the datafield shows training effect as a ring for supporters. The training effect kicks in if it is greater than 1 and begins to circle around the watch. Make sure that your weekly trainings end with different colors to get better. Please find more information about training effect here: https://bit.ly/3qY9pvI You can set the color theme as well directly on your watch by choosing your option via the datafields settings (black or white background). Furthermore the field switches automatically to miles and miles per hour if you have set to on your watch. Before your workout (especially on newer watches), the GPS signal strength may been hidden by e. g. a HR strap connected message. Therefore I introduced a sing which shows the GPS signal strength. Start your workout as soon as the ring gets green
