Climber turns your everyday activities into ascents of real-world landmarks. Pick a challenge, whether it's a building, an 8,000-meter peak, or a high alpine summit, and every completed Garmin activity with barometric elevation data adds real, positive ascent toward that challenge's goal, no matter what type of activity you recorded. How it works: Browse a catalog of real-world landmarks by category and select one to climb. Complete any normal Garmin activity. Climber reconciles it in the background and adds the positive elevation gain toward your selected challenge, capped at the challenge's real-world height. No barometer reading for an activity? Add elevation manually from the watch's Settings menu. Reach 100% to complete a challenge, then climb it again at any time. Every completion is counted. A Progress overview shows how many challenges you've completed in each category at a glance. Built for your watch: Climber adapts its layout to both AMOLED and MIP displays, with purpose-built, high-contrast layouts for Instinct-series watches. A dedicated Reset flow offers two scopes, allowing you to reset either the current challenge or everything, so you're always in control of your progress. Your data stays on your watch: Climber has no account and no server of its own. Your progress, completions, and selected challenge are stored locally on your device. One challenge, Sagrada Familia, is available to climb right away. The full catalog can be unlocked with a single, one-time in-app purchase processed by KiezelPay rather than through Garmin's own store checkout. When you start a purchase, the payment code and instructions are shown directly on your watch. What Climber is not: Not a live GPS tracker: Climber does not use your location and does not run during your activity. It reconciles ascent after an activity has been completed and saved.
