Inspired by Garmin Vivomove (tm) and Swatch Once Again (tm). Important Note regarding “always on second hand”. I have been asked by several people to implement an always on second had for this watch face for watches that support the functionality. Please note that I am willing to work smart and hard to make this happen; however, with the extremely limited power budget for partial updates (which is the technique used to implement always on second hands), I would have to limit functionality, second hand size, etc. In lieu of this, I have created an “App” that provides always on second had for watches regardless of their support of partial updates. Very lightweight and memory friendly, so battery drain should be minimal. Important 1Hz (i.e., constant once per second) refresh note: I have researched this capability for watches supporting every second updates. Here's the issue. There are multiple colors on my screen and a very long second hand (which is visually what I was after). There is a very--VERY--limited time budget allowed in the update (average less than 30ms to run partial update). So far, I am way over budget, so it is not working. I will keep trying, but may need to further modify the look. Please do not post a negative review due to a bug until you give me the opportunity to correct it, please. Used generateHandCoordinates line-for-line (no changes) and the idea behind drawTickMarks, which I changed substantially for this watchface (but the geometry calculations were invaluable).
