PinPaw – Pet Tracker

PinPaw shows where your pet is, right on your wrist. The glance gives you the essentials without opening anything: your pet's name, whether the tracker is reporting, how far away it is, the battery level and how fresh the last fix is. Open the app and you get a compass arrow pointing at your pet, the distance in your own units, and the tracker's battery and fix age. Turn, and the arrow turns with you. FROM THE MENU • Live tracking on or off: the tracker reports far more often and the watch refreshes every 10 seconds • Car mode for a ride, or start and stop a walk by hand, whichever matches how that pet records walks • Switch between pets when you have more than one WHAT YOU NEED A PinPaw account and a PinPaw GPS tracker: https://pinpaw.pl Your phone has to be nearby with Garmin Connect running, because the watch has no internet connection of its own. SETUP 1. In the PinPaw mobile app: Settings → Generate API key → Copy API key 2. In Garmin Connect: Connect IQ → PinPaw → Settings → paste the key Your password never reaches the watch, and the key can be revoked at any time from the mobile app. PERMISSIONS • Communications: reads your pets' positions from the PinPaw API • Positioning: your own position, to work out distance and direction • Sensor: the compass, so the arrow turns with you
