About

Free during development period. Kaleidoscope turns your watch face into a piece of cut glass. Sixty coloured facets sit in twelve mirrored wedges around a clear centre, and the whole pattern is drawn fresh — every angle, every edge, every reflection. It turns as your day does. Leave Twist on and the glass rotates with the hour, so the pattern you glance at over breakfast has moved by the evening. Nothing repeats on a loop, and nothing is a stored image. Point the glow at any of your goals and the glass answers to it. Steps, distance, calories, Body Battery, sleep and heart rate can all drive it. The facets sit dim while you are short of the target, and light through the day as you close on it. Progress becomes something you see rather than something you read. Set your own target, or follow the one your watch already keeps. Health and fitness: Heart rate, Resting HR, HR Zone, Body Battery, Stress, Sleep Score, Respiration, SpO2. Training: Recovery Time, VO2 Max (run), VO2 Max (bike), Active minutes (daily), Weekly Intensity, Race 5K, Race 10K, Race Half, Race Marathon. Also: Steps, Floors, Distance, Total Calories, Active Calories, Elevation, Ascent, Descent, Notifications, Battery. Weather: Temperature, Feels Like, Humidity, Dew Point, Precipitation, Wind, Pressure, UV Index, Solar Intensity, Sunrise, Sunset. The centre is yours. Choose how much of the dial belongs to the time — a balanced middle, a larger clearing with bigger hours, or a tight well that lets the glass run further in. Two readouts sit above and below the time, each free to show whatever you track, in a colour you pick or on Auto to follow the glass. The date sits on its own line under the hours, in as much detail as you want: the day, the weekday with it, the month too, or nothing at all. Your battery and your notifications share a quiet line beneath the hours. Nine ways to colour it. Jewel Box throws the full spectrum through the pattern. Monochrome holds it to a single hue of your choosing. Stained Glass deepens it to cathedral reds and blues, with dark leading between the facets. Carnival turns it loud, and Ember, Tide, Ultraviolet, Neon and Verdant each take the dial somewhere else entirely. Then make it yours. The pattern is built from five rings of shapes, and every ring takes its own colour if you want it to. The face you end up with need not be one anybody else has. Readouts show the reading itself or how far through its goal you are, and a day past the goal keeps counting rather than stopping at full. Burn-in-safe always-on display carries the same pattern in outline, turning slowly through the hour, with the time dimmed.
