Three activity rings. One glance. Halo puts your daily progress front and center: three colorful rings wrap around a big, clean digital clock and fill clockwise as you close in on your goals. Close all three and the face lights up complete. Every ring is yours to configure. Pick any data source for each of the three rings: - Steps (vs. your daily step goal) - Floors Climbed (vs. your floor goal) - Active Minutes (vs. your weekly intensity goal) - Calories - Battery - Body Battery And make it look the way you want: each ring's color is configurable too, from a 12-color palette (classic pink/green/cyan out of the box), and a Ring Size setting picks thin, standard, or thick rings. The unfilled track automatically dims to match your chosen color. And when you blow past a goal, the ring keeps going - a second, lighter lap wraps over the first. The current value for each ring is shown below the time, color-matched so you always know which number belongs to which ring. Also on the face: - Large digital time with AM/PM (12h or 24h follows your watch setting) - Day and date up top - Seconds shown when you raise your wrist - Designed for crisp readability on MIP displays Ring data sources and colors are configured right on the watch (watch face settings menu, on watches with Connect IQ 4.2.1 or newer) or in the Garmin Connect app. On AMOLED watches, always-on display shows a burn-in-safe dimmed time. Lighter on the battery, and a cleaner time. AM/PM is gone. You are wearing the watch, so you know which half of the day it is, and dropping it frees the crowded space beside the digits where it used to overlap the rings. Seconds are now optional, and they always fit. Turn them off in settings if you prefer the time on its own. On a two-digit hour the time steps down one size, the same way it already does with thick rings, so the seconds sit clear of the rings instead of running into them. In 24 hour mode that means seconds work at every hour now. Under the hood the face caches its settings instead of re-reading them on every redraw, takes a single activity reading shared by all three rings instead of one per ring, and no longer polls Body Battery more often than it actually changes. Nothing else looks different, it just does far less work each time the screen refreshes, which matters most while your wrist is raised and the face redraws every second. Settings changed on the watch still apply immediately.
