Activity App Data Comm Demo

This is an activity app that demonstrates receiving data from another Connect IQ app This app is to be used with the Data Field Data Send Demo app: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/8ae4e787-6a27-49dc-813f-81c22e2b82c4 Instructions for use: 1. Install the Data Field Data Send Demo app. 2. Add the data field to an activity. 3. Start the activity. 4. After a few seconds, stop and save the activity. This will send data (the elapsed time) to the receiving activity app. 5. Open the settings for the data field with the Garmin Connect IQ app and copy the value for the User Id setting. 6. Open the settings for this app (Activity App Data Comm Demo) and paste the value from step 5 in the User Id setting. 7. Start the Activity App Data Comm Demo app 8. After 5 seconds received data should be displayed on the screen. Note that the Garmin Connect app must be running on your smartphone, and bluetooth communication enabled for communication between apps to function. # Tags Data communication, data sharing between apps
