About

Have you created your perfect power plan for given course with https://www.bestbikesplit.com/? Have you downloaded it as Garmin Power Course/FIT file and configured your device according to Best Bike Split instructions from https://www.bestbikesplit.com/support? Are you looking now for a good tool helping you in execution of this plan towards your perfect performance? This data field is exactly what you need: it thoroughly supports you both in real-time monitoring of execution of your power plan, and later in post analysis of your ride. For more information please visit http://bbsdatafield.000webhostapp.com/. This data field will provide you with following information: - target power for given segment of your ride - average power for that segment (in opposite to standard 3s/10s/30s power averages, this data field calculates average power just for the same segment as the target power value is defined in your plan) - power difference for that segment, presented as value in Watts and graphically as gauge - remaining distance (expressed in kilometers/meters or miles/feets) till the next course point, where new target power value will appear - statistics for overall performance (calculated online) to tell you how far you are from your optimal power plan at given point in time. They are expressed as overall percentage value (100% = executed just as planned) and weighted average power difference (in Watts) between target power values and actual power values from all course segments you have ridden from the beginning of your course till the given point in time. Overall performance is also presented with slider-like visualization - process-oriented values aimed for even finer controlling of your performance, i.e. cadence, HR, 5s average power, time and average speed. In next releases of this data field you will be able to select other process-oriented values you would like to see on your screen (torque effectiveness, pedal smoothness, speed, 1-10s power average) - visual notifications when power course is not started, you are off the power course or you arrive end of the course All above data is available when the data field runs on your device in full-screen mode (=you set layout of your screen to contain only this data field). In case this data field is combined on one screen with other data fields from your device, it automatically switches to "reduced responsive mode" with implemented responsive design. Depending on the resolution it can show target power, segment power, distance to the next point where target power will change and statistics about your overall performance against the plan. Please, take a look at the screenshots below to get a feeling about what you can expect in context of your device. This data field supports also saving power target values from the plan and overall performance (% + weighted power difference) to FIT file for further analysis e.g. in Garmin Connect mobile / web app, GoldenCheetah, etc. Once you have this data stored you are able to analyse it in a nice graphical way. E.g. you can see where you didn't go according to the plan, what was your actual speed at given ride segment comparing to planned and actual watts and you can draw conclusions about what you can improve for the future. All above features with the exception of saving information to FIT file are available for 20 minutes for free as trial mode. After that time the data field gets disabled. In case you would like to obtain unlock code for the Full version (no time limit per ride + support for saving data to FIT file), please visit http://bbsdatafield.000webhostapp.com/ or contact me at [email protected].
