Summit
· v1.1
About
Vemera Summit is an analog watch face built around a 24-hour sun dial, computed astronomically for your position, with Altitude (Barometric) and Weather information on hand inside the sun dial.
Noon sits at the top of the ring, midnight at the bottom. Daylight is drawn bright, civil twilight as a darker band, night darkest. The boundaries are today's actual sunrise and sunset where you are; they are marked on the ring and turn red while the sun is down. A 24-hour hand with a red arrowhead points to your current place in the day. At high latitudes in summer, when the sun never reaches civil darkness, the whole night is drawn as twilight — which is what actually happens.
Above the hands: current altitude, in metres or feet following your device's unit setting. Below them: today's sunrise and sunset times, in 24-hour or 12-hour format following your device. At the bottom inner ring you will find current weather information based on your location, including wind direction, speed and temperature.

Requirements and notes
Sun and weather data requires a position: a recent GPS fix, the device's last known position, or the weather service's position. Until one exists, the ring is drawn in the daylight tone.
Altitude requires a barometric altimeter.
