They are not 100% accurate. They're our best effort at giving you a useful, consistent read on your play using only what a wrist-worn sensor can measure — expect them to be a good relative indicator of your shots and speed, not a precise, lab-grade measurement. Sensitivity is adjustable if shots are being over- or under-counted for your swing. Hands-Free scoring is a beta feature. It's built to require a confirming second gesture before it scores a point specifically to avoid accidental scores, but as with any motion-based input, it can occasionally misread a gesture — if that happens, a manual tap always overrides it. Pickleball Pro runs on Garmin watches going back to 2018 — including the Vivoactive 3 Music, the original Venu, and Vivoactive 4/4s — not just the newest models. Screens as small as 218px (Vivoactive 4s) are supported with a simplified scoreboard layout, so you're not locked out if you're not on this year's watch. Built on Connect IQ SDK 3.2.0+, it runs across roughly 60 Garmin models spanning Venu, Vivoactive, Forerunner, fenix, epix, Approach, Descent, D2, and MARQ.
