About
Overview
Mondrian is a connected watch face that pays tribute to Dutch abstract art: a grid of colored blocks in the style of Piet Mondrian (red, yellow, blue, white, gray, black), entirely vector-drawn in flat, pure colors, with no texture or gradient. The hour and minutes are shown in distinct large blocks, a second hand continuously animates the central black square, and the battery level reads directly within the grid, with no extra gauge or number.
Main features
- Hour shown in a large red square, with customizable font, size and color
- Minutes shown in two separate white blocks, each digit centered in its own cell; font, size and color customizable independently from the hour
- 9 fonts to choose from for the hour and for the minutes (Zekton, Bolton, Lalline, Manbow Clear/Lines/Solid, Rusilla Serif, Warren, Antique Book)
- Animated second hand in the central black square: a thin white wedge that flares from the center to the edge, ticking every second, customizable color
- Battery gauge built into the grid: a block progressively empties from black to white as the battery drains from 100% to 0%
- Three decorative blocks (yellow, blue, red) whose color can be customized independently
On-watch customization
The entire look of the watch face can be customized directly on the watch, with no phone app required: long-press the watch face, then choose "Settings" to open the customization menu:
- Font, size (Small / Medium / Big) and color of the hour
- Font, size (Small / Medium / Big) and color of the minutes
- Second hand color
- Color of the three decorative blocks (yellow, blue, red)
Compatibility
Mondrian is compatible with over 100 round-screen Garmin watches (64 colors or more), including: Fenix 5/6/7/8 series, Descent Mk1/Mk2/Mk3/G1/G2, Forerunner 245/255/265/645/745/945/955/965/970, Venu/Venu 2/Venu 3, Vivoactive 3/4/5/6, Epix 2, Enduro/Enduro 3, D2 Air/Charlie/Delta/Mach, Approach S50/S60/S62/S70, MARQ, and many more. No permissions required, no Bluetooth or GPS connection needed: the watch face works entirely offline, using only the watch's own time and battery level.

What's new
Three new optional displays, all off by default.

another city — its flag, and the time below. Eleven cities available,
each following its own daylight saving rule.
Step count: the white cell at the top can show today's steps.
Font and size are adjustable independently for each of the three.
