Weekly Sport
· v0.0.7
About
Due to the recent developer registration policy I have decided not to make new activations of the optional features and to freeze this application, so I want to inform you that unless there are changes in the contractual conditions of said policy, the current version (0.0.6) is the last one. Those of you who have the optional features activated DO NOT WORRY, because you can continue using them since I have not changed anything.
This has always been a hobby for me; your tips for beers gave me the push and gratitude necessary to continue taking free time to include small improvements and adapt it to more devices.
Thank you to the users who have been collaborating during these years; I have received very encouraging comments and I really appreciate them.
Sincerely, tonix76.

Widget that displays the weekly sport data (distance, duration, average pace/speed) from the sport activities stored in the device.

The widget it's easy to use; as soon as you see the data from your activities on the screen, you'll effortless move between the different data screens by using the starndard Garmin controls (buttons or touch screen). Nevertheless, as soon as I can find a free time slot I'll publish the user manual. In the meantime, here you can find a few hints on how to use the widget:
- UP/DOWN to browse sport types or time frame
- START/ENTER to move to the next data screen (summary, distance, duration, etc.)
- BACK to go to the previous level
.
By using the Garmin Connect mobile application, or the Garmin Connect IQ mobile application, you can configure up to three different sports, and for each one:
- The activity type (for example: CYCLING) attending to the different sport types from the latest Garmin SDK
- The activity name (for example: BIKE) to be displayed on the menu and widget data screens
- The average pace/speed measure type (min/km, km/h or min/100m)
.
By using the widget menu, from the device itself, you can configure the following settings:
- Browse mode behaviour for UP/DOWN buttons:
... + Sport type: next/previous sport
... + Others: previous/next time frame (1 or 7 days)
- Time frame of the data to show (current week, last 7 days)
- Days to shift (1 or 7) the time frame when browse mode has been set to a sport
- Summary screen (always on when glance view is ON; otherwise it is optional)
- Background color (black, white)
- Highlight min/max (color, black and white, no)
.
IMPORTANT:
- The number of activities stored in a device depends on its capabilities (amount of memory and disk space)
- Each device has an internal cleansing procedure which removes some oldest activities when the device determines that more free space is required
