Holonia Time

Holonia is a club face: the crest fills the middle of the screen, the time sits over it, and two progress rings in yellow and purple track your day around the edge. THE CREST The crest is drawn as a dimmed background so the clock stays readable over it, and it is rendered at your watch's own resolution — one image per screen size, not one image stretched to fit. Three choices: Dimmed, Bright, or Off for a plain background in the colour you pick. TWO RINGS Both rings fill clockwise from twelve o'clock, and each one is yours to assign, with its own colour: - Steps goal — against your daily step goal - Heart rate — against your configured maximum - Battery — against a full charge - Floors goal — against your daily floors climbed goal - Active minutes — against your weekly goal - Move bar — how close you are to the next nudge - Nothing — switch the ring off entirely Out of the box: steps on the outer ring in yellow, heart rate on the inner ring in purple. A ring only fills when the watch can actually supply the number. If a metric is unavailable on your model, that ring shows its track alone — honest empty, not a false zero. At 100% the ring closes into a full circle, and it never laps. A ring on a goal — steps, floors, active minutes — starts to glow past 80% of it, a halo in the ring's own colour that grows as you close in, and the finished ring is brightened towards white. The rings that only have a ceiling, heart rate and battery, stay flat. COLOURS The colour list leads with the club's: Yellow, Purple, Light purple, Deep purple, then amber, orange, red, pink, green, cyan, blue, white and three greys. The same list sets the time colour and the label colour, and the background can be black, near black, plum, navy or white. Every value is a colour the older memory-in-pixel screens can actually show, so what you pick is what you get. THE MIDDLE Above the clock, a compact line. Below it, a value with its label. Both slots take: date, steps, heart rate, battery, calories, distance, or nothing at all. Set the bottom field to Nothing and the clock centres itself vertically for a face that is mostly time. Distance follows your watch's own kilometres-or-miles setting, and steps are grouped with thousands separators. Every setting is editable on the watch itself, and the face redraws the moment you pick a value. BUILT FOR AMOLED AND MIP Ring thickness, ring spacing, the crest and every text row are fractions of the screen, so the same proportions hold from 218x218 up to 454x454, on AMOLED and on memory-in-pixel screens alike. Text is measured before it is drawn, not assumed to fit. Every row is checked against the chord of the circle inside the rings — which is much narrower than the screen near the top and bottom — and steps down a size until it fits. Long labels shorten, BATTERY to BATT, and a label that still will not fit is dropped rather than clipped. On always-on displays, sleep mode drops the crest and both rings and keeps a dim clock and top line. That measures 5.2% of pixels lit in the worst case, comfortably inside the 10% these panels allow: less burn-in risk, less battery drawn while your wrist is down. 12-hour mode drops the leading zero. 24-hour mode keeps it. A ring set to a goal metric — steps, floors or active minutes — lights a halo in its own colour once it passes 80% of the goal, and the halo grows the closer you get. Reach the goal and the ring closes into a full circle, brightened towards white, so you can tell a finished day from an almost-finished one at a glance. Rings with a ceiling but no goal — heart rate and battery — are unchanged, and so is the move bar, which fills when you have been sitting too long and is not something to celebrate.
