About

See your dogs location with a glance at your wrist when paired with a Garmin Alpha or Astro, while recording an activity. You can get more info at https://ekutter.github.io including my other dog tracking CIQ apps - Customizable dog distance and movement alerts - View up to 4 dogs or other Alpha/Astro's at once - indicates moving or stationary with a green or red arrow details: - displays searching until it finds an Alpha/Astro. Please make sure you have the latest firmware for your Alpha and "settings / Dogs / Broadcast Dog Data" set to On. - displays "no dogs" if connected, but the Alpha/Astro isn't seeing any dogs. - displays "comm lost" if communication has been lost between the Alpha and dog or "GPS Lost" if the dog collar has lost GPS signal. - Lock in a specific Alpha/Astro via settings*. Specify an Alpha ID of "-1" to lock in to the next found Alpha. Set zero to always use the first found Alpha. - Select the distance alert tone for each enter and exit of the range. Set the range to zero to disable. -The direction arrow is relative to the direction your watch/device is heading. For best results your watch/device should be held level in front of you. -Note that the distance and direction to the dog is relative to the location of the Alpha. So for best results, the Alpha unit should be on or near your person. -Multiple watches/devices can be viewing the data from the same Alpha. *Settings through your phone: - In Garmin Connect on your phone, select your "watch device / Connect IQ Apps / Data Fields / Dog Tracker Fld / settings" Please contact the developer if you have suggestions, comments, or any issues.
