About

Free during development period. A living Earth on your wrist. The globe turns through the day, and the line between day and night falls where it truly falls, tracking the real position of the sun rather than a fixed shadow. Coastlines are drawn live, edge by edge, every time the face refreshes. There are no pictures anywhere in it. After dark the night side comes alive. City lights pick out the shape of the land you cannot otherwise see. They lie dense across the eastern seaboard and the European plain, a bright thread along the Nile, scattered thinly where the world is empty. Watch a whole night pass and the lights turn with it. Around the rim, curved readings follow the dial. Five of them carry whatever you choose, each with its own gauge arc filling as the day goes on. Each can take a target of your own where the watch's is not the one you want. Two more sit beneath the clock, each an icon with its reading beside it. Steps, heart rate, Body Battery, calories, stress, floors, distance, respiration, temperature, battery and a great deal more, all from one deep catalogue. Every reading takes its own colour, forty of them, or follows the theme. Health and fitness: Heart rate, Resting HR, HR Zone, Body Battery, Stress, Sleep Score, Respiration, SpO2. Training: Recovery Time, VO2 Max (run), VO2 Max (bike), Active minutes (daily), Weekly Intensity, Race 5K, Race 10K, Race Half, Race Marathon. Also: Steps, Floors, Distance, Total Calories, Active Calories, Elevation, Ascent, Descent, Notifications, Battery. Weather: Temperature, Feels Like, Humidity, Dew Point, Precipitation, Wind, Pressure, UV Index, Solar Intensity, Sunrise, Sunset. The centre is yours to arrange. Keep the time on the planet, in your choice of two sizes, with the date and a lit AM and PM panel beneath it. Or send it around the top, where the hours curve above the globe, the date curves back beneath its southern edge, and your two readings move out to sit either side of the world. Leave it on Auto and the time moves itself to whichever side the globe leaves clear. Size the globe, move it, tilt its axis, set how fast it turns and where it centres. Drop a pin on your own place, and turn the city lights on or off. Choose whether the planet or the time is the face, where the time sits and how large it reads. Six themes set the colour of every reading, and the globe carries six of its own, from Natural through Blueprint to Mono. The night side can fade in soft twilight, cut to a hard edge, or go dark altogether, in a colour you pick. Alarm, do-not-disturb, connection and notification cues appear only when they apply, and you choose which of them persist after dark. The always-on display is burn-in safe by design, carries the time with the date, the battery, both or neither, and keeps the face's identity through the night. Nothing ever leaves the watch. Earth reads your activity and health data on the device to draw the dial and does nothing else with it. There is no network use of any kind. Everything is set from the watch face settings in the Garmin Connect IQ app.
