About

There is a new and improved version of this watchface called M2 (+ M2 Designer) which I recommend everyone uses now instead: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/1b4e3210-8105-487b-9f3a-8d538e6fed55 ----- A high-quality minimalist watch face designed with a seconds indicator moving around the outside of a clean stylish display. This Lite version has the same display options as M1 but with a more standard settings format - however it only allows 3 fields (instead of 8) and no profile saving. ----- Settings are grouped into a few main sections: ○ Time - main hours & minutes display ○ Seconds indicator - customize appearance and style ○ Ring Display - outer circular bar which fills up to show a value like steps count or battery ○ 3 Fields - each with 6 elements, which can be positioned anywhere. Display things like: - Date (choose the elements to display and separators between them) - Status indicators (alarm on/off, notifications pending etc) - Values like step count, battery percentage - Move bar ----- Tips: - To display a changing status indicator, e.g. for an alarm, use the "Visible If ..." setting for the field element. Set the first element to be "Visible If ... Alarm On", and the second element to be "Visible If ... Alarm Off". Use different icons or colors for the two elements, and the display will switch between them depending on the alarm status. - If you turn off the outer Ring Display, then also try turning off the "Seconds Move In A Bit" setting - the seconds indicators will move outwards (and may get slightly larger). - Try using the "Demo Display" setting (at the bottom) or "Seconds Color Demo" setting to help choose colors. They may help, or they may not! - Create a Move Bar with different color segments by entering multiple Move Bar elements in the same field. - You can make Notifications Count only Visible If ... your phone is connected. - What does the Ring Display show when you hit your daily steps goal? - It should be cheap to run anyway, but if you really need to optimise battery usage this is my guess for the Seconds Indicator options from cheapest to most expensive: off, show on gesture, refresh every minute, refresh alternate minutes, refresh every second.

What's new

If you like this watch face, please support my work with a tip to http://bit.ly/m1_donate - thanks! Any problems / suggestions please use the "Contact Developer" link - include your email address so I can reply. Or the forum support thread is here: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/f/showcase/163882/watchface-m1 - Note: I'm seeing some crashes from people who have old firmware on their watches - unfortunately the Garmin system for preventing installs to incompatible firmware is currently broken! You can check if your firmware is up to date using Garmin Express. ----- Version 1.0.4 - Fix for crash when trying to display floor count on the Garmin 245 - Workaround for Turkish language (there is a bug in the CIQ SDK for some characters in upper case - so upper case is disabled for Turkish …) - Make sure the firmware on your watch is up to date (via Garmin Express sync) for this version if you experience a crash! ----- Version 1.0.3 - Fix for 12 hour time display (12:00 instead of 00:00) - Added AM & PM indicators for fields - Fix for potential week number error in some time zones - Improved cedilla and ogonek on some thin field fonts ----- Version 1.0.0 - First release.
