Running Datafield with Large HR Display
· v1.60-upd1
About
I am a runner. I wrote this data field to display all the data I like to see when running on one screen. Large Heart Rate with colour coding to minimise the time staring at the watch through sweat drenched eyebrows.. :-) Enjoying the run without fiddling with the watch all the time.
You are welcome to make some suggestions if you would like me to add more features.
Data on Display:
- Time of day (top of screen)
- Large HR display (in color according to zone) for quick glance reading (zones configurable)
- Avg Pace (for entire race) and current Pace
- Distance and Duration
- Minutes behind/ahead of target time based on target pace (red or black display) - target pace configurable
- Predicted finish time in minutes ahead or behind target time (based on race distance and average pace so far in race) - alternatively in full predicted time
- Elevation (bottom of screen)
- Battery status only displayed if below selected value
- Calories can be displayed instead of race finish time prediction
- Bottom (black) and top coloured areas changes colour to indicated GPS signal strength
Future versions (Wishlist)
- Warning tones (as soon as ConnectIQ allows this...!)
- More user configuration options - i.e. select different data fields for display - not sure if this is required?
To Install:
- Select this ConnectIQ data field on a screen with single field layout in Run App.
- Go to Settings - Apps - Run - Data Screens - Screen 1 (or any other screen) - Layout - 1 Field - Field1 - ConnectIQ Fields - choose kwRun
