Crossy Hop
· v1.00
About
CrossyHop is a one-button arcade dodger built for the Garmin Instinct 2X. No touchscreen, no complicated inputs — just a single press to hop forward, and pure reflexes to keep you alive.
Your character sits fixed in the middle of the screen while the world moves around it. Every lane you cross is either open grass (safe), a road full of cars, or a river dotted with drifting logs. Cars come in fast, straight lines — wait for the center lane to clear, then press the button to hop. Rivers work the opposite way: you need a log under you to survive, so time your hop to land on one before it drifts past.
A rising hazard line creeps up from the bottom of the screen the longer you linger in one spot, so standing still forever isn't an option. Keep hopping, keep reading the traffic, and see how far you can push your streak. Every fifth lane is guaranteed safe, giving you a quick breather to plan your next few moves before the next stretch of chaos.
Controls couldn't be simpler:
Press the button: hop one lane forward.
That's it. Everything else is timing.
Features:
One-button gameplay designed for the Instinct 2X's physical buttons — no screen taps needed.
Procedurally generated lanes, so no two runs play out the same way.
Distinct visuals for every hazard: sharp white blocks for cars, rounded logs with a wood-grain line for the river, and a thin marker line for the rising hazard wall.
Persistent best-score tracking saved directly on your watch, so your personal record carries over between sessions and even after a reboot.
A clean, minimal black-and-white display built around the Instinct 2X's monochrome screen — no clutter, just what you need to make split-second decisions.
Instant restarts: as soon as you go down, press the button again to jump straight back in.
CrossyHop is built for quick bursts of play — perfect for a break between sets at the gym, waiting for coffee, or any moment you've got fifteen seconds and want to beat your own high score. Simple to learn, tough to master, and entirely playable with the flick of a thumb.
Dodge square. Ride round. Keep hopping.
