zzSpeed Data Field The zzSpeed Data Field provides a highly readable display of your current speed alongside selectable metrics: Absolute Average Speed, Moving Average Speed, or Maximum Speed. It utilizes high-visibility custom fonts (TitilliumWeb and Nanum Gothic) to ensure clear data recognition during high-intensity activities. Key Features 1. Multiple Speed Modes You can customize the secondary data field to show the specific average speed you need: Absolute Average Speed: Calculated as Total Distance ÷ Total Elapsed Time. This includes all time since the recording started (including rest stops and traffic lights), offering an objective view of your overall pace. Moving Average Speed: Calculated as Total Distance ÷ Moving Time. This reflects your pace while actually riding, excluding pauses. For optimal accuracy, the device's "Auto-Pause" feature should be enabled. Maximum Speed: Displays the highest speed achieved during the current activity. 2. Automatic Unit Detection Speed is automatically displayed in either km/h or mi/h based on your Garmin device system settings. 3. Performance Color Coding (Threshold) The data field changes color based on a user-defined threshold. It visually alerts you when your current speed is above or below your average, assisting with real-time pace management.
