This is the first data field on the GarminIQ Store that adds partial support for Shimano’s Di2 groupsets to the Edge Explore and Explore 2 bike computers - a feature that was not originally available. Data field that shows several parameters: the front/rear gear status and battery level for Shimano Di2. The data field does not need any additional bluetooth connection or sensor setup and works automatically as soon as it is added to the screen of the bike computer. If you have problems using your specific equipment, you can contact the developer directly for assistance. Only the main battery charge is displayed, the battery charge of the shifters is not displayed. The data about the gear status and battery level are written into activity file. WARNING! The data field uses an extra bluetooth connection, but the Edge bike computers are limited to 3 simultaneous bluetooth connections, so conflicts with other sensors or data fields may occur. Another problem is the overall limit on the number of custom IQ fields to write to a fit file, 16 pieces for Edge computers. If the number of fields is exceeded this data field or another using a custom IQ field will be crash. Can be disabled in the data field settings, if you don't need it or you get a crash on startup. The data field is fully functional for the first 10 minutes of activity, then it is blocked.
