About

Twenty seconds of work. Ten seconds of rest. Eight rounds. Done. TABATA Power runs the whole interval for you — a countdown ring, the seconds left in big figures, the round you're on, the move you're doing, and live heart rate. No counting, no clock-watching, no phone. And when none of the presets is the session you had in mind, you build your own — on the watch, in about a minute. MY WORKOUTS — BUILD YOUR OWN, ON THE WATCH No phone, no website, no typing. On the protocol screen press MENU, choose "My Workouts", and put a session together yourself: • Start from a blank workout, from any of the four protocols, from a random shuffle — or from a copy of one you already saved • Add moves from the full 24-exercise library, up to 12 in one workout • Put them in the order you want: push a move up or down the list, swap it for another one, or take it out. Or shuffle the list and let it surprise you. • Set the timing by picking from short lists — work 10 to 60 s, rest 0 to 60 s, 4 to 20 rounds. Nothing to type, nothing to scroll through twice. • Name it with one tap on "Auto name", or pick from 24 ready-made names. There is no keyboard on a watch, so naming is taps only. • Save it and it's in your MY WORKOUTS list: Run, Edit, Duplicate, Rename or Delete, whenever you like • Keep up to 10 saved workouts Fewer moves than rounds? The list simply repeats — 4 moves over 8 rounds runs each one twice. Your workouts live on the watch, and they run exactly like the built-in protocols: same ring, same cues, same summary, same Garmin Connect activity. FOUR PROTOCOLS • BEGINNER 20 s work / 20 s rest x 6 rounds (~3:40) • CLASSIC 20 s work / 10 s rest x 8 rounds (~3:50) • ADVANCED 30 s work / 10 s rest x 8 rounds (~5:10) • ELITE 40 s work / 20 s rest x 10 rounds (~9:40) CLASSIC is the original Tabata protocol. BEGINNER gives you an even work-to-rest ratio to start on; ELITE stretches the work interval and the round count. 24 EXERCISES, NO EQUIPMENT Six moves in each of four categories: • Cardio Burpees, Jumping Jacks, High Knees, Mountain Climbers, Squat Jumps, Skaters • Core Sit-Ups, Plank, Russian Twists, Bicycle Crunches, Leg Raises, Flutter Kicks • Upper Push-Ups, Triceps Dips, Pike Push-Ups, Shoulder Taps, Inchworms, Supermans • Lower Squats, Lunges, Glute Bridges, Wall Sit, Calf Raises, Split Squats Everything is bodyweight. Two moves want a household surface — Triceps Dips need a chair, Wall Sit needs a wall — and every move says so on its own row. Almost every move carries its own little pictogram in the list, so you can spot the one you want without reading every row. Can't decide? Hit "Surprise me" and let it pick. FIVE WAYS TO RUN IT — from the MENU button • Tiers the four preset protocols above • Custom your own work, rest and round count, set from the Garmin Connect phone app (5-600 s work, 0-300 s rest, 1-20 rounds) • Single move one exercise for every round • Mixed circuit rotates 4-8 moves, a different one each round • My Workouts the workouts you built yourself, ready to run BEFORE YOU START — THE RUNDOWN Whichever way you picked, the last screen before the timer shows you the whole session first: the estimated total time, the round count and the rest, and then the list itself — round by round, each with its move's own little icon, the move name and the seconds of work. Scroll down it if it's a long one. One press starts it. A single-move session says it in one line: "Burpees x8". Every mode gets a rundown, so you always know exactly what you're walking into. DURING THE WORKOUT • Countdown ring, hero seconds, "ROUND 3 / 8", the move name, live HR and calories, and total elapsed • Round dots around the top so you can see the whole session at a glance • A 3-2-1 lead-in before round one, and again out of every rest • Tone and vibration on every interval change, following your watch's own sound and vibration se
