About

Forge Core puts one number around the outside of your watch: how far through your goal you are, on a clean 0–100 scale that reads clockwise from twelve. Inside it, the time — hours in white, minutes in your accent colour — and three readings you actually use: heart rate, steps and battery. The ring is yours to point at whatever you're chasing. Leave it on your step goal, switch it to battery when you're deep into a multi-day trip, or track your weekly intensity minutes. Built for the whole Garmin range rather than one flagship. On AMOLED it uses scalable fonts for thin, precise digits and a full-colour accent. On memory-in-pixel screens it switches to a high-contrast profile with heavier tick marks and no thin greys. On small screens it thins the tick ring and gives the space back to the time. In always-on it drops to a dimmed, hairline layout that stays well inside Garmin's pixel budget and walks a few pixels every minute so nothing burns in. Nothing leaves your watch. There is no network permission and no account. Features - 0–100 progress ring, driven by your step goal, battery, or weekly intensity minutes - Large time display with the minutes in your accent colour - Seconds readout while the screen is awake - Heart rate, steps and battery, with compact formatting (8.4K, 1.1M) - Five accent colours: lime, orange, blue, red, white - Three date formats, localised to your watch language - Dedicated always-on layout with burn-in protection - Dedicated high-contrast profile for memory-in-pixel watches - Press and hold a reading to open its Garmin view (on supported watches) - 14 languages - No network access; nothing is stored or transmitted Touch Press **and hold** one of the three readings to jump to the matching Garmin view. This is a long press, not a tap — a single tap on a watch face is reserved by the system. Available on watches with the Complications API (Connect IQ 4.2 and later); on older watches the face works exactly the same, minus the shortcut.
