Suuntish AOD
· v0.8.5
About
A new version of the Suuntish watch face, now with AOD support! But this version still works great on MIP devices as well.
This watch face was inspired by the Suunto Race 2 with its four week exercise overview. I don't own a Race 2 but wanted something similar for my Enduro 3. The time display is very basic - just time, date and an info field in the top right (default is steps, can be customized through settings). The graph displays weekly distance or time for activities. The default is all activities but you can choose to display only running or cycling. Only activities recorded on the watch is counted. You can also choose between a few different color options.
What's new
0.8.5: Added a few aod options and a "brighter colors" option (only works on amoled devices). If you enable everything in aod mode, you need to enable black lines to keep luminance below 10%!
0.8.4: Added support for a bunch of devices that doesn't have vector fonts, including Fenix 6 and the original Enduro. I haven't tested all of the enabled forerunner versions, some of the might look a bit off in the alignment of today's date.
0.8.3: Fixed a bug where the face would crash if recovery time is selected for the top right field on watches that don't support it. Now it simply displays -- if it can't read a recovery time. Updated the graph code so if no activities are found the graph is still displayed (but only along the bottom).
0.8.2: Added support for Venu 3 and 3s.
0.8.1: I don't know if the black line overlay is necessary in AOD mode, so I made a setting for it. If it's on, every other line is black and it shifts each minute.
0.8.0: Finally an update! Sorry for the delay, but here's what's new:
* AOD mode for amoled watches. Very simple, just the time and weekly graph with a shifting black line overlay. I don't have an amoled watch to test, feedback on this is very much appreciated!
* More optimized graph calculation. The watch face got really slow on my Enduro 3 after a firwmare update, but it should be a bit more responsive now.
* More options for the top right info field: steps, heart rate, watch battery, body battery or recovery time.
* Setting to show or hide the lines above and below the time. Some of you wanted an even cleaner look.
IMPORTANT: This works as supposed on my watch but I've only tested other devices with the simulator. I have tried to get it working on different screen sizes and with different fonts (because not all watches have the same fonts) but I have no idea if it will work or crash on your watch. If you enjoy the watch face or have any problems that should be fixed, feel free to to contact me!
