A big, clear altimeter for your wrist. The whole point is a height readout you can actually read at a glance: your altitude, big and clear, straight off the watch's barometer and GPS.
The main event is the sync to Cloudbase. Record a session on the watch and it lands in the Cloudbase app on your phone, with your track on a map, your stats and your full history in one place. The watch works fine on its own too, no phone needed.
Works across the modern Garmin range, from the Forerunner 255 to the fenix 8.
Straight up: this is a supplementary readout, not a safety device. Barometric altitude moves with the weather and GPS drifts, so zero it against a known elevation and treat the numbers as a guide. It isn't built or tested for skydiving, parachuting, BASE or any freefall activity.
