The capybara crossing game, made for your Garmin watch. Hop your capy across endless roads, rivers and railways. How far can you go? --- How to play --- Hop forward to score a point per lane. Cars and trains flatten you. Water swallows you unless you land on a drifting log — and don't drift off the screen. Trees block your path. Stand still too long and the hawk swoops in; a quick hop scares it off. The further you get, the faster the traffic. --- Unlock 8 capybaras --- Grab the yuzu fruits scattered across the lanes and spend them on new capybara coats: Classic, Brown, Sand, Grey, Charcoal, Cream, Golden and the exclusive Yuzu capy. 100 yuzus each, all earned by playing — there are no in-app purchases. --- Your real steps count --- Once a day, claim a step bonus from the main menu: 1 yuzu for every 100 steps you walked today (up to 50). Walk more, unlock faster. --- Button controls --- - START: hop forward - UP / DOWN: hop left / right - BACK: hop backward - MENU (hold UP on most watches): pause --- Touch controls --- - Tap the top, left, right or bottom of the screen to hop that way - Or swipe in any direction --- Secrets --- The field hides more than traffic. There is a place you can only reach by going somewhere the game never asks you to go, and it pays you for finding it. The HOW TO screen has a nudge if you get stuck. --- Saved on the watch --- Best score, yuzu balance and unlocked capybaras are stored on the watch. Vibration feedback can be toggled from the menu. --- Requirements and limitations --- - No internet, account or phone required. The game runs entirely on the watch and never goes online. - The daily step bonus reads the watch's own step counter; it resets at midnight along with the watch's counters. - On button-only watches the MENU button (usually a long press of UP) pauses the game; during a run BACK hops backward, so quit through the pause menu. --- Permissions --- None. Capy Crossing requests no permissions at all — no location, no heart rate, no network. Steps come from the watch's daily counter, which needs no permission, and nothing ever leaves your watch. Much smoother motion. Traffic, logs and trains used to stutter on faster watches; the game now draws each sprite in one pass and runs the world off the clock instead of the frame counter, so movement stays even and plays at twice the frame rate where the watch can manage it. Also new: a hidden place to find, with a reward for finding it, and a SECRETS page under HOW TO if you want a nudge.
