About

Know if it will rain where you're heading, not just where you are. RainUp is a weather data field for Garmin Edge computers that predicts rain along your route. Using your current speed and riding direction, it estimates where you'll be in the future and checks the forecast for those locations. If you change direction, RainUp recalculates your projected route and updates the forecast automatically. The display updates every second. Weather forecasts refresh every five minutes and whenever you make a significant change in direction. Features: - Current rain conditions at your location when stationary - Six-hour rainfall trend - Rain forecast for your projected location when moving - Estimated rain arrival and clearing times - Automatic switching between riding and stationary forecasts - Indicator showing whether the forecast is based on your current location or projected route RainUp is designed for outdoor riding and is not intended for indoor trainer use. Forecast data is provided by Open-Meteo. Forecast accuracy depends on: - GPS quality - Phone connectivity - Forecast availability in your area - Rapidly changing local weather conditions Supported devices: Edge 530, 540, 550, 830, 840, 850, 1030, 1040, 1050, Edge Explore 2 and Edge MTB. Feedback, bug reports and ride feedback are welcome: [email protected] If RainUp has helped you stay dry, you can buy me a coffee. Thank you. https://buymeacoffee.com/kzkvh2
