Pair the watch once with the TerrainCue Course Manager, upload any GPX before your activity, and the active compact terrain model downloads automatically when the data field opens. Up to ten downloaded courses remain in the offline watch library and can be selected later from TerrainCue on-device settings without reconnecting the phone. During an activity, TerrainCue shows: • Distance and estimated time to the next climb, descent, summit, bottom or finish • Remaining terrain distance and vertical gain or drop • Remaining average grade and current live grade • One-time sound and vibration alerts before terrain transitions The default transition alert is 50 m and can be changed from 20 to 200 m. EASY COURSE SYNC 1. Open TerrainCue on the watch while the phone is connected. 2. Enter the six-character watch code in the Course Manager linked above. 3. Upload a GPX and apply it to the watch. 4. Keep TerrainCue open. The watch checks every 3 seconds and downloads the active course automatically. For later course changes, simply upload another GPX before opening the data field. No URL copying is required. Once synchronized, the course remains on the watch and TerrainCue works offline during the activity. PRIVACY The original GPX is analyzed in the browser and is not uploaded. Only a compact watch terrain model and hashed pairing credentials are stored for up to 180 days. The watch does not upload live workout location, activity records or heart-rate data. Pairing data and stored courses can be deleted from Course Manager. TerrainCue is an independent Connect IQ data field and is not affiliated with Garmin ClimbPro or PacePro.

Version 1.2.0 — Adds an offline watch library for up to ten GPX courses. Select a saved course directly from TerrainCue on-device settings without reconnecting the phone. Includes confirmed course deletion, automatic migration of the existing course, and keeps saved courses when pairing is reset.
